Class Act Carlsbad

Through the vision of founder Judi Waters, and the work of our entire community, Class Act was born in 1989 to provide a safe place for seniors on graduation night. Prior to the 1988 high school graduation, Carlsbad had 5 alcohol related fatalities during the school year involving high school students. Class Act is funded solely through donations. It is not a school-sponsored event.

Class Act welcomes all graduating seniors in Carlsbad, including Carlsbad High School, Carlsbad Early College High School, JMA, Carlsbad Enrichment, Paradise Academy, Home School, and any other learning institution or program. Class Act provides a HUGE party for 400+ seniors and their guests. Party Night consists of a DJ, dance contests, karaoke, bingo, video games, movies, a casino, all you can eat food, tons of prizes such as MacBooks, TV’s, cash, etc. Class Act also gives scholarships annually for both traditional colleges/universities and trade schools.
